Music and Farm-to-Fork BBQ - Na'Bodach, celtic music for the modern masses

Event Description:

Spend the late afternoon on the lawn of the farmhouse, listening to great music and enjoying great food. We’ll be serving up the best farm to fork picnic ever, available for sale at the event! The offerings will feature items produced right here at the farm, including cheese plates made from our own cheeses & breads, burgers made with the farm's own pastured meats, and produce from the garden and other local produce growers. Dessert will be locally made ice cream! We always cook up something special, which will be announced closer to the date! Na’Bodach (broad Scots for "not old men”) have been playing Celtic music for 20 years. The band has been through personnel changes over the years and they are presently in their finest formation. Based in the Bucks, Hunterdon area their approach to the music has remained the same. They “nabodicize” traditional tunes and songs by incorporating modern rhythms, styles, and instrumentation. Their goal is to keep the ancient music fresh and accessible to modern audiences. The music begins at 4, food service is from 3-6. BYOB, family friendly, but please don't bring the dog! We won't be mailing out tickets, but we'll have you on our guest list! Limited to 200 reservations, so don't hesitate to reserve! We take a chance on the weather, and will reschedule or refund if the forecast is uncooperative.
