The Farm... Cherry Grove is a diversified sustainable farm on 480 acres of mixed woodland, hedgerow and certified organic pasture in the historic town of Lawrenceville. At Cherry Grove Farm we make award-winning farmstead cheeses and raise pastured animals, including whey-fed pork, grass-fed lamb, rose veal,and beef, pastured chickens and eggs.

Our products to reflect our dedication to the ethical treatment of our animals, respect for our employees and our surrounding environment. As part of a very small community of farmstead cheese producers in the state of New Jersey, we take our role of connecting our customers with their farm very seriously. Our mission is to make great cheese and to reconnect people to the land and how good food is made.

Our Farmstead Cheese... Cherry Grove Farm cheeses are made on our farm with milk fresh from our herd of grass-fed cows. We offer raw and vat-pasteurized cheeses that are made in small batches with the utmost attention paid to the craft of artisanal cheesemaking. Each cheese is distinct, reflecting the unique qualities of our terroir and the seasonal variations in the grass on which the cows grazing,

The Farmstore… As a sustainable farm we believe in supporting other small-batch and artisan producers that focus on quality. In the farmstore we carry a variety of local and artisan-made products that complement our cheese and meats. We carry local maple syrup, honey products, sweet and savory jams, chutneys and preserves, beef jerky, barbecue sauces, and more.

Hours of Operation

Winter Hours: January thru March, Wednesday to Monday 10-5 PM (Closed Tuesdays)
Spring Season: April thru May, Monday to Sunday 10-5pm (seven days a week)
June thru December, Sunday to Wednesday, 10-5pm, and Thurs, Friday, and Saturday, 10-6pm

Events, and monthly Pasture walks are on our events calendar. Visit our menagerie of goats, sheep, chickens, guinea fowl, and farm cats. Each month we have a farm fun day when we invite some of the makers who sell product in our farm store to come and engage with our customers and sample their wares. We also have a cheese-related class, run hayrides, and one of our farmers leads a pasture walk. Each month is a different theme ending with our ghost tour in October.
