Historic Cold Spring Village is a non-profit, open-air living history museum that portrays the daily life of a rural South Jersey community of the Early American period. It features 26 restored historic structures on a 30-acre site. Farm life enthusiasts will enjoy the 8-acre, 1800s organic farm that is located on the grounds of the Village. Guests can visit with a variety of farm animals including Levi, the Village horse. He carries out horse-drawn farming demonstrations and pulls the wagon for rides around the Village. HCSV is also home to sheep, chickens, a Brahmin rooster, a calf and piglets. During "Down on the Farm" weekend, held each summer, guests are invited to try their hand at horse-drawn farming, corn-grinding and a variety of farm-related activities. The Village farmer produces organic heirloom crops including tomatoes, squash, eggplant, peppers and more. Produce is sold at the Country Store and is also utilized by the Village restaurant, The Cold Spring Grange Restaurant.
Historic Cold Spring Village is open 10am-4:30pm weekends June - September, and 10am-4:30pm Tuesday-Sunday from late June through Labor Day Weekend.
