First built in 1984 as a solar passive home, Earth Friendly joined a new generation of solar-powered homes in June 2011 and boasts an eye-catching rooftop solar array that provides energy for the entire property. Over 1000 blueberry bushes surround the 8+ acre farm and U-pickers from near and far visit throughout the summer months for blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and garden vegetables. Bed & Breakfast guests are welcomed from around the globe...light and airy guest rooms are comfortable and quiet to insure a restful night's sleep. Breakfast is served in the dining room, solarium, and if weather permits, on the patio overlooking the grounds.
Also available are Yoga and T'ai Chi workshops for those who want to de-stress and renew at one day or weekend R&R retreats. The spacious studio and upper deck are also used to schedule workshops/seminars for local business owners.
