Ploch's Farm has been a family run 15-acre farm since 1867. It is the last remaining working farm in the City of Clifton and is the second largest farm in the County of Passaic. Fruit and vegetables are picked daily in order to ensure freshness and quality. Ploch's Farm produce includes: tomatoes, corn, peaches, plums, beets, swiss chard, arugula, dandelion, lettuce, romaine, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, garlic, and parsley. As Autumn begins so do extra-large pumpkins, gourds, butternut squash, acorn squash, Mums, apples, and pears. Ploch's farm also participates in Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins and Corn Mazes during the Autumn season. (Please call or email for appropriate dates and times.) In addition to produce, Ploch's Farm also sells, Gelotti Ice Cream and Italian Ices, homemade breads and pies, fresh-cut flowers, salad dressings, jellies and jams, and gifts from Lin's County Corner. The farm is only open for vegetables during the season of July 24 thru October 22 and will reopen the greenhouse starting May 1. Once open for May the farm will contribute to the selling of flowers for spring planting. Flowers include: geraniums, impatients, petunias, marigolds, pansies, and many more annuals. In addition to flowers, vegetable plants may also be purchased for the garden. Vegetable plants include: tomatoes (large and cherry), cucumbers, peppers (sweet and hot), lettuce, and many more.
