Terhune Orchards is a 200 acre fruit and vegetable, family owned farm in Central, NJ. The Mount family have owned and operated it since 1975, one of the first preserved farms in New Jersey! The farm market, in a 150 year old barn, is open year round, 7 days a week. Terhune Orchards is noted for it fresh, wholesome fruit (35 varieties of apples, 20 varieties of peaches, berries and more), vegetables (35 different crops), flowers and herbs. The farm store is filled with homemade cookies, fruit breads, apple crisps, apple cider donuts, delicious pies and fresh squeezed apple cider. Take part in the farm?s Pick-Your-Own offerings, farm festivals and visit the barnyard of animals. Take part in the farm?s education programs, Read & Pick series, school tours, farm camp, Barnyard Birthday Parties and more! Terhune Orchards is the local farm experience, enjoyed by young and old all year round.
