The Totten Family Farm is an 80 acre preserved Certified Naturally Grown Farm in the beautiful Schooley's Mountain section of Long Valley New Jersey. Our family farms with Certified Naturally Grown standards as well as USDA's "organic" standards. As stewards of the land it is our family's obfective to efficiently raise high quality, healthy food in a sustainable manner. The Totten Family Farm is driven by a deep routed need to utilize the skills and preserves the traditions that have sustained humankid for so long. It is our duty and honor as farmers and stewards of the land to fulfill this right with integrity and imprint its value on current and future generations. We raise naturally grown heirloom mixed vegetables as well as pastured based chickens, turkeys, lamb, Large Black and Berkshire pork. We have limited supply of 100 percent grass fed Belted Galloway delicious beef. Our farm stand is open 10:00am to 5:00 most of the year. Hours of Operation

Farmstand hours at the Totten Family Farm are: Open Monday to Thursday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm , Saturday 10:00am to 7:00pm, Sunday 11:00am to 4:00pm

Farm Tours | Hay Rides | Hiking | Looking Zoo | Petting Zoo | OTHER: We only raise rare heritage bred animals that can be viewed from the farm stand including, Belted Galloway cattle, Berkshire, Large Black, Red Waddle and Ossabaw pigs, Katahdin sheep, Heritage chicken and turkey. How about collecting free range farm fresh eggs! Our beautiful farm animals can be viewed and observed from our farm stand area. We welcome families with children to view these rare and important heritage farm animals. Please visit the Totten Family Farm with the entire family and have some farm fun and learn about the importance of maintaining and preserving the genetic diversity of these beautiful rare farm animals.

Credit Cards Accepted | Food/Refreshments Available | Large Groups Welcome | Picnicking | Restrooms | OTHER: We accept most credit cards at our farm stand, There is a wide selection of different meat products raised on our farm including 100 percent grass fed Heritage Beef and Lamb. An assortment of Pork products as well as Heritage Chicken and Turkey. There are picnic tables for your family's enjoyment and to relax while your family view these rare and beautiful heritage farm animals. Some of theses animals are considered critical, endangered or on the watch list by the American Rare Breed Conservancy. It is important that the community understand the need to preserve these beautiful animals for their unique genetic diversity and maintain their populations for future generations. There is a port potty also available up front if needed.

There is also two beautiful ponds on our preserved farm where paid fishing is available per person for the afternoon or for private party rentals. Please let us know, and we will make arrangements. We accept volunteers and interns to help us during the growing season. Whether your interests are organic vegetable production or animal husbandry we need your help caring for the farm animals and to maintain the vegetable fields.
